The first cattle sale for 2021 at Toowoomba penned 41 head of fair to good quality young cattle.
Most of the usual feed and trade buyers plus local restockers were present and operating, along with a large contingent of onlookers.
The small selection of stock experienced strong support across all classes.
The highlight of the sale was a couple of well bred yearling steers with show ring potential making to an isolated 1110c/kg to return $2913/hd.
A few medium weight yearling steers to feed for the domestic market averaged 425c and made to 434c. Light weight yearling heifers returning to the paddock averaged 434c.
Yearling heifers to feed made to 440c to average 433c. A small selection of medium weight grown steers to feed made to 402c. Light and medium weight bulls to feed made from 354c to 372c.
