AN 83 hectare (205 acre) property positioned above the Brisbane River has sold at a Colliers International auction for $850,000.
Located between Lowood and Fernvale the property comprises of four lots and has northern views from Mount Hancock.
The buyer was locally based Kerry and Anthony de Ruiter, A&M Civil Contracting, Fernvale.
Four parties had registered to bid at the auction in Brisbane, following some 400 inquiries.
The main entry is a 22m frontage on Glamorgan Vale Road. The three adjoining lots have direct access to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, including a small parcel of land on the banks of the Brisbane River where the access to the water licence is granted.
The marketing of the property was handled by Peter Uebergang, Colliers International.
