Tommerup's Dairy Farm has launched its limited-edition artisan Jersey Girl range, in a bid to spread some Christmas cheer.
The December line aims to be a delicious compliment to the festive season's sweet meals. It includes a Butter Whisky Double Cream - teaming up with local Scenic Rim distillery, Tamborine Mountain Distillery.
Tommerup's iconic salted butter has also received a sweetened holiday revamp, adding cinnamon, sugar and spice to the award-winning product.
Kay Tommerup from Tommerup's Dairy Farm said the range of Christmas treats were a much-needed celebration after such a challenging year.
"We really wanted to properly celebrate Christmas and the festive season after the year we've all had, so we decided to give some of our popular Jersey Girl products a hint of Christmas cheer," Ms Tommerup said.
"I love the flavours that automatically say 'Christmas' and I knew these flavours would lend themselves so well to our Jersey Girl dairy products."
Ms Tommerup said the move to diversify the family business had been forced upon the farm by current dairy pricing.
"Dairy pricing does not support farming in a sustainable manner, the idea was to build up enough expertise until we can become more self-sustainable," she said.
"We have to now (diversify), we are facing some serious drought conditions. Without diversification we won't be able to keep going.
"Dairy prices are not keeping up and we are not prepared to not be paid anymore and we are stepping up to pay ourselves."
The limited-edition Christmas products will be available from Tommerup's Christmas Farm Gate this Saturday, December 5.
Ms Tommerup said the event will be a "really nice" way to end a difficult year for the agribusiness, after severe drought and COVID-19 forced the shutdown of staple community events, like the Ekka.
"We have to now (diversify), we are facing some serious drought conditions. Without diversification we won't be able to keep going.

She said it was important for people to work together and to "think outside the box" in order to survive.
"We're trying to work more with local producers, it's really nice to have a network of support around you."
The Tommerup's Christmas Farm Gate will feature pop-up shops and gift ideas from a range of local businesses inside the Scenic Rim.
"Next year, we're looking to do even more collaborations and bring out even more interesting products," she said.
"It keeps the product fresh to collaborate with other people, and it makes it different."
