A strong show of support was shown for the bulls drafted for the 2020 Gold City Brahman Sale.
A blazing hot day didn't deter bidders from turning out in droves for the Gold City Brahman Sale held at the Dalrymple Saleyards, Charters Towers, on Friday, November 6.
The support for the sale shone through in the ring where 186 bulls sold to average $7019 to gross 1,305,500 on a day for a 98 per cent clearance.
The day saw the previous sale record of $27,000 eclipsed three times, including by the now current $60,000 record holder Lapunyah Walker (PS), which was sold by Mitch Cole, Lapunyah Brahmans, Tumoulin, and purchased by Geoff and Lindy Fry, Arafura Cattle Co, Normanton.
