Clermont Nutrien Ag Solutions branch manager Anthony Lee has been recognised in Nutrien's global Our World Awards.
The awards program sets out to find Nutrien employees who go above and beyond in their efforts to grow our world from the ground up every day.
Mr Lee has been the branch manager and agronomist at Clermont in central Queensland for 12 years, a region which is consistently impacted by lower than average rainfall.
"It is a fantastic achievement; it is amazing to think that I have been selected for a worldwide award, but I am humble about it to be fair," Mr Lee said.
"I have an excellent team that works for me and we all strive for a common goal of customer satisfaction and high branch performance."
Mr Lee said challenges allowed the team to build stronger relationships with his customers.
"I always try and focus on the good and use the learnings from other times to our benefit so that we can serve our farmers with knowledge, skills and integrity," Mr Lee said.
"As a branch, we have been in the MD club twice, we have taken the branch from making no money to a very consistent contributor to the business.
"We have a real focus on nutrition in the Clermont branch, so nutrition is something I enjoy working on as well."
Nutrien Ag Solutions north-east region manager Robert Payne said Mr Lee was a huge asset to the local farmers in his region.
"As the branch manager, Anthony is a very genuine and sincere leader who cares deeply for his staff, farmers and local community," Mr Payne said.
"Anthony and his team have introduced new technologies and products to help farmers produce more with less, maximise their potential on farm and make informed decisions each season.
"Anthony enjoys bringing cutting-edge systems to his local community to help the farmers in his region continue to be world leaders in how they contribute to the global food supply chain."
