The Toowoomba Anglican School graduating class of 2020 donned their finery last week for the school formal.
A shift in venue made it possible for the students to celebrate with their families and while dancing wasn't on the cards, they belted out karaoke instead.
TAS head of secondary Trina Faint said it was an outstanding event where parents, students and staff could come together to celebrate a fine group of young men and women.
"It has been a year of adapting to change and this special event was no different," Ms Faint said.
"A change in venue due to COVID restrictions could not put a dampener on celebrations. The TAS Main School Close transformed, with the generous help of our Year 11 parent formal decoration committee, to a magical space rivalling many venues.
"For the students the most important things was that they could celebrate with their families - their home family and their school family."
