Stariha Auctions yarded 333 head of cattle at Woodford on Monday. All buyers were in attendance, with the market remaining very strong.

Kevin Dellaway, Elimbah, sold Euro cattle, 20-22 months, with steers making $1700/head and heifers $1790. Garry Brown, Neurum, sold Brahman cows to $1590.

Ron and Christine Cressey, Rocksberg, sold a Braford bull for $1940. T and A Doyle, Wamuran, sold Braford cows for $1560.

David Ringelstein, Kilcoy, sold pens of Droughtmaster-cross cows for $1430 and $1160, Angus cows for $1330 and 4-5-month-old steer calves for $790. Christine Aitken, Eskdale, sold Droughtmaster heifers for $1220 and lines of weaners, with steers making $980 and heifers $805.

Ernie Ferriday, Conondale, sold lines of Droughtmaster and Angus-cross weaner heifers for $1080, $970 and $880. Harrison Family Trust, Kilcoy, sold Brahman steers for $1240.
