The Charbray Society of Australia welcomed 15 vendors, 54 Charbray bulls and interested buyers from across the country for the 43rd annual National Charbray bull sale held at the CQLX in Gracemere on Monday.
A total of 54 Charbray bulls went under the hammer, for a 100 per cent clearance, to gross $479,500.
The growing popularity of the Charbray breed was prevalent, with bull prices reaching a top of $40,000 and an average of $8880.
The top price bull record for the breed was broken when Rosewood Napoleon, offered by Paul Connor, Rosewood Charbrays, Morinish, was purchased by Ted and Elizabeth Euston, Gympie, for $40,000.
