The scorching sun didn't stop the strong interest from buyers, at the annual Glenlands Droughtmaster on-property Bull sale, which grossed a whopping $3,094,00 at Bouldercombe on Friday.
Val, Darren and Helen, Jason and Carissa and their children sold 172 bulls for a 100 per cent clearance, with an average of $17,988.
The sale topped at $120,000 for Lot 9 Glenlands D Bakers Dozen (P), who was bought by Simmons Cattle company.
Compared to last year's sale, which 168 bulls were sold, with an average of $12,023 and the top bull sold for $70,000.
