DROUGHTMASTER vendors and buyers from across the state, arrived at the CQLX in Gracemere, prepared for the second day of the annual bull sale.
There were plenty of familiar faces on Day One of the sale, with many long-standing families making the trip to Gracemere to sit in for the two day sale, providing a welcoming financial injection into the local community.
On Wednesday, 214 bulls were sold, raising a total of $1.735 million and averaging $10,032.
The top purchase of the day two, saw the purchase of Locarco Odin, a 21-month-old polled son of Rondel Saxby, which was bought for a tidy $100,000 by Skye Cattle Company, Alpha.
Overall, the Droughtmaster bull sale sold a total of 423 bulls, raising a whopping $4.23 million to average $11,020, with a clearance of 91 per cent.
