Police are investigating the theft of sheep from a property on Leyburn Cunningham Road, west of Warwick.

A MOB of sheep has been stolen from a property at Cunningham, west of Warwick.

Police said five ewes and five lambs were taken from a property on Leyburn Cunningham Road on Friday, August 28.

A vehicle was seen parked directly outside the property in the evening and police believe the thieves targeted the small mob of sheep yarded on the property and loaded them into the vehicle.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen people acting suspiciously in the Cunningham area on August 28.

They are also asking people to be on the lookout for anyone who may have recently acquired sheep by unknown means, or had advertised a small number of sheep for sale.
