New faces and repeat buyers cleared all 50 bulls at the Minnie-Vale Charolais annual sale on Thursday near Narrabri.

The draft of bulls on offer had the highest Eye Muscle Area raw scan results the stud had ever produced.

The stud achieved a 100 per cent clearance, top of $11,000 four times and an average of $6833.

Catalogues were hard to find as bidders fought thick and fast t secure the bulls of their choice. Auction Plus was a strong support with 15 bulls sold on the online platform or 30 per cent of the offering.

The four top price bulls all sold within New South Wales, being spread from Lismore, across to Baradine and down to Quirindi.

Bulk purchaser was Mr Peter Hannigan, Pine Valley, Lismore who purchased five bulls including one top price at $11,000.

Mr Hannigan was looking for bulls to suit his weaner market at Casino and selected the five bulls for type and quality.

The Hannigan family draft averaged $8,000.

Stud principal Mr Jason Sailer was very pleased with the strong support throughout the sale and grateful for the support of new and repeat buyers.

Sale was conducted by Davidson Cameron with Luke Scicluna as auctioneer.
