THE Covid-19 pandemic has forced organisers to call on technology for the Nutrien Supreme Birthday Bonanza sale.
For the first time the sale will be presented online and follows hot on the heels of the Nutrien Equine sale conducted with the AuctionsPlus operation.
A sale spokesman said the new arrangements were "garnering plenty of interest" and provided an opportunity for buyers and sellers impacted by the earlier cancellation of the Toowoomba Supreme Sale because of Covid-19 restrictions.
"This online sale means that these horses will be able to have full eligibility to the incentives that will be run at the 2021 Toowoomba Supreme Event," the spokesman said.
The catalogue for the Supreme Birthday Bonanza will comprise 64 yearlings, 67 ridden and 14 broodmares, some of which have exceptional bloodlines.

Buyers can use the online catalogue to follow the progress of the sale, watch videos and photos of their preferred lots, read comments and other vendor updates.
Selling will begin at 9am on Wednesday, July 29, and run for three days culminating at 2pm on Saturday, August 1 when horses in the southern hemisphere celebrate their birthday.
Numerous vendors have multiple entries, including J & G Pastoral and their Orange-based Trinity Stockhorses.
They will offer 10 horses - two Competitive Novice Campdraft mares, two trained four-years-old mares by Acres Destiny along with a started two-years-old filly and four PTIF broodmares and a gelded yearling.
"We are also pleased to see long time vendors the Campbell and Gordon families from Goomburra and the Rhondu Stud both have eight entries each," the spokesman added.
