There were 364 head sold on Monday at Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale. The market remained firm, with all types meeting strong demand.

Graham Taylor, Nanango, sold Red Brahman cows and calves for $1900. Mervyn Green, Villeneuve, sold Limousin steers for $2190 and $1890, Charolais cows for $1640 and weaner steers for $880. John Dawkins, Taromeo, sold a pen of Square Meater steers for $1700.

Mineral Properties, Moore, sold Senepol cows and heifers for $1540. David and Darcia Keen, Mt Kilcoy, sold lines of eight to 10-month-old Charbray weaners, with males making $1020 and heifers $900. Brian Gibb, Stony Creek, sold Droughtmaster cows for $1400.

Christine Rowe, Laceys Creek, sold Charolais heifers, 20 months, for $1305. Alec Parker, Delaneys Creek, sold 18 to 20 months Braford steers for $1390. Belinda Rea, Mt Delaney, sold seven-month-old Charolais steers for $885.

Wagner Rural, Mt Kilcoy, sold Charolais steers for $1110-$1200. Hugo Vandersluis, Nambour, sold a line of Droughtmaster males for $850. Darrin Wilks, Woodford, sold six-month-old Charbray calves for $795. Jonathon Twist, Mt Carbine, sold five-month-old Charbray heifers for $690.

Retschlag Trading Trust, Kilcoy, sold lines of four to five-month-old Angus cross calves, with steers making $720 and heifers $680. Rodney Kunde, Kilcoy, sold a line of eight-month-old Charbray heifers for $865.

Troy Hennessey, Mt Mee, sold five to six-month-old Charbray calves, with steers making $760 and heifers $700. Karen Miles and Peter Maunders, Harlin, sold Brangus males for $1090 and $880. Daniel Richards, Kilcoy, sold vealer heifer calves for $830.
