A two state buying panel and a complete clearance coupled with an increase in average values were trademarks at the Glenlands Herd Builder Online Female Sale, conducted over the weekend.
The Childs families, Glenlands Stud, Bouldercombe, sold 24 unjoined, polled and maiden heifers for an average of $5438 to achieve a sale gross of $130,500.
In all, 41 bidders registered their interest in the hour long event.
Sale honors went to the 18-month-old, Book Club (Glenlands D Ramsey) purchased by Gavin Russell, Callanish Grazing Company, Donnybrook, Western Australia, for $10,500.
Mr Russell purchased three to average $9250.
These included the second top seller, the $9750 Blueberry (Karragarra Lieutenant) (15-months) and the yearling, $7500, Boho by Glenlands Orient.
Stephanie Laycock, High Country S Stud, Eskdale returned securing the $9250 Bobtail (15-months) (Glenlands Resolution).
At the same money, Les Howard, Benjamin Stud, Aramara selected the 19-month-old, Bold (Glenlands D Venturi). Benjamin Stud ended with a pair to average $7000.
Daniel and Kirsty Boswood, Kaniel Stud, Barmoya took the $5500 Baylee (20-months) (Glenlands Virtue).
Clancy, Warwick and Anne Thomas, Wascom Systems, Newport paid $4650 each for daughters of Glenlands Upfront and Lamont Orlando.
Another to select a pair in the sale was Cory Kruger, Corolla Stud, Toogoolawah for $4500 each.
Jim Mackenzie and Rachael Harratt, Canina Valley Stud, Canina selected a $3250 daughter by Glenlands Orient.
Dan and Teneale Sommer, Sommer Stud, Maleny claimed the 18-month old Bohemian (Glenlands D Redrock) while Allen and Michelle Burton, Yimin Stud, Bell Park selected a pair to average $5250 and top at $6000.
Another to return was Josh Stevens, Joken Stud, Banana taking a single for $3350.
Robert and Carly Johnstone, Dawsonvale Stud, Banana outlaid $6600 for the sale opener Bonny (Rondel Passfield) (19-months).
Ben Power, PV Stud, Cloncurry took a pair for an average $3750 while Ethan Carter, Jemcar Stud, Widgee also took a pair for an average $4450.
Gavin Ford, 4 Dee's Stud, Mundubbera ended with two for a $3525 medium while Andrew O'Kane, Warrego Stud, Wandoan selected a $3300 16-month-old Glenlands Resolution daughter.
