Light weight yearling heifers sold to restockers 45c/kg dearer. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed lifted price by 35c, and heavy weights to processors averaged 27c/kg better. Cows continued to be in demand and experienced further price improvements to average 7c to 14c dearer for processor lines, and up to 20c/kg to restockers.
Steer calves sold to restockers at an average of 434c, with sales to 460.2c/kg. Light weight yearling steers returning to the paddock averaged 388c, and made to 430c/kg.
Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market made to 415c to average 403c, and medium weights averaged 385c/kg. Heavy weight yearling steers to feed made 386c, to average 371c/kg.
Light weight yearling heifers made to 383c, with a fair sample averaging 360c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed averaged 372c, and made to 386c/kg. Heavy weight yearling heifers to processors made to 375cc, to average 363c/kg.
Heavy grown steers to export processors made to 369c to average 367c/kg. Medium weight 2 score cows to processors averaged 259c and made 272c/kg.
