T. Lahrs, Crowley Vale, sold Droughtmaster steers 20 months at $1420. Gaylene Belz had Droughtmaster steers 18 months at $1340.
C and D Malpress of Wamuran had 18 months Droughtmaster steers at $1250. Duncan Brown Family Trust had Droughtmaster steers 16 months at $1210.
MJD Mechanical, Woodford, sold Charolais cross steers 12 months at $1070. Melissa Thornton had Charolais cross steers 12 months at $1040.
R and J Fogg sold Droughtmaster steers 6-8 months at $990. Wagner Rural sold Droughtmaster cross steers 12 months at $870.
Ian Gilliland had Santa Angus steer calves at $980. Manumbar Station sold Charolais cross steer calves at $990 and Brahman cross at $930.
Simon Bechly had Charbray calves six months at $710. L and M North had Simmental cross steer calves at $910.
Heifers of breeder quality were in high demand with Brangus heifers 18 months from BVP, Coominya, selling at $1170, and Droughtmaster cross at $1160.
Garth and Toni Reiser had Charolais cross heifers 18 months at $1110 and $1070. Melissa Thornton's Charolais cross heifers 12 months sold at $1070.
Woodrow family, Kilcoy, sold Brangus heifers 18 months at $1130. Simon Bechley's weaner Brahman heifers sold at $820.
Ian Gilland's top quality weaner heifers sold at $910 and $890. Lindsay Grantz sold Charolais cross weaner heifers at $790.
Manumbar Station sold weaned Charolais cross heifers at $900, $800 and $790. University of Qld Gatton College sold Droughtmaster heifers 10 months at $740, $730 and $760.
Ian Gilliland sold Charolais cross cows at $1750.
Cows and calves were in high demand with 80 cows and calves from Manumbar Station selling to $1850 for Charolais cross, $1690 for Droughtmaster cross and $1750 for Droughtmaster cross also.
W and T Browning, Blackbutt, sold Charolais and Angus cross cows and calves at $1600. Bevan Kammholz had young Droughtmaster cows and calves at $1750.
Ben Woodford had Droughtmaster cows and calves quite young at $1650. Knapp's Creek Farm, Beaudesert, had Droughtmaster cross cows and calves at $1680.
Weather permitting quality lines of heifers and steers will be at the next Toogoolawah sale on Friday February 21.
