Agents Bartholomew and Co reported a dearer market for all descriptions at their first Beaudesert store sale of the year on Saturday. A top line-up of feeder steers came to hand and sold to a very strong market, as did quality well-presented weaner steers and heifers.

Rahane Pastoral, Innisplain sold Euro cross steers 20 months for $1350. MRJ Properties, Palen Creek sold three pens of Charolais cross steers 18 months with the top pen selling for $1235 to average $1223. Angus cross steers account Glenapp Pastoral, Running Creek sold for $1205.

Hardale Pty Ltd, Moogerah sold Droughtmaster steers two-and-a-half years for $1125. Angus steers 14 months account Palms Trading, Mt Tamborine sold for $790. Pam Moriarty, Canungra sold Droughtmaster steers 14 months for $780. Droughtmaster cross steers 14 months account Barbara Snelling, Mt Alford sold for $765.

The Doyle family, Darlington sold Droughtmaster cross steers 15 months for $675. Droughtmaster weaner steers account William Taylor, Purga sold for $580. Palen Creek Correctional Centre sold Charbray weaner steers for $575. Droughtmaster weaner steers from Evans and Rowling, Hatton Vale sold for $540.

Tom Harvey, Tarome sold Charbray weaner steers for $525. GMP Nominees, Tamrookum sold Red Brahman heifers 18 months for $765. Brangus heifers account Betty Zabinski, Beechmont sold for $695. Palms Trading sold Angus heifers 14 months for $645. The Doyle family sold Droughtmaster cross heifers 12 months for $585.

Angus weaner heifers account Russell Hansford, Mt Tamborine sold for $380. GMP Nominees sold Red Brahman cows for $1100.

GMP Nominees also sold Red Brahman cows and calves for $980. Senepol cows account RK Family Trust, Mt Tamborine sold for $910. Belted Galloway cows account Wayne Frunks, Carbrook sold for $840. Betty Zabinski sold Angus cross cows for $705. RK Family Trust sold a Senepol bull for $1710.
