Queensland stud producers have come up well in the Miss Africa/Asia division of the Champion of the World competition, claiming a swag of award for the Sunshine State.
The competition was founded in 2012 to promote awareness, goodwill and trade between and within cattle producing countries.
It runs beween December 1 to the 14 every year and cattle qualify by winning their country's premier breed show in their respective regions.
Judges from each region select regional winners with females going on to compete for Miss World and winning bulls vying for the champion of the world accolade.
Breed winners then go on to face off against other breeds.
Taking home Miss Asia/ Africa titles in Queensland were Yarrawonga Santa Gertrudis, Glenlands Droughtmasters, Monal Blondes, Voewood Brangus and Downfall Creek Braford Stud.
Glenland Droughtmasters' Darren Childs said it was good to see Glenlands D Whitney perform so well in the international competition.
"It's always good to when you get a bit of recognition for what you're doing within your breeding program," he said.
"We think a lot of her, she's a beautiful cow.
"I think it's a good competition and it's starting to get a bit of recognition."
Voewood Brangus co-principal Edward Quinn said Voewood Brangus had previously been sashed grand champion Brangus female at the Royal Queensland Show, supreme female at Rockhmapton Show and junior champion female at Beef 2018.
"She keeps on winning for us and she's done it again," he said.
