Over 200 people got to experience a delicious three-course meal celebrating central Queensland produce under the stars at Clermont last week.
The National Agriculture Day celebration is the second by the Qld Food Future Inc group, after hosting a lunch in town last year.
Among the mouth-watering array on the menu tailored by Tall Poppy Catering in Rockhampton were pulled beef and garlic cup canapes, featuring garlic grown in the Kilcummin district.
Co-organiser Elisha Parker said the Boots & Bowties gala dinner celebrated central Queensland's agricultural industries and produce alongside the screening of the newest video in the A True Story series, which had featured that day in a national advertising campaign.
Played on TV during the first day of the international cricket test between Australia and Pakistan, it was aimed at raising awareness of land management and food production for those outside agricultural industries and to promote engagement between consumers and farmers.
"Industry has given us good feedback," Ms Parker said. "It speaks to producers and those outside ag alike."
It builds on the educational and interactive site run for the past two years at the Ekka, and complements previous vegetation and reef videos produced by the group.

A Meet a Farmer program for schools was also launched mid-year.
"Another thing we wanted to do was send out a good news message during the drought, that we have a good story to tell," Ms Parker said.
The A True Story advocacy work was initially funded with a genetics sale at Beef Australia 2018 and Qld Food Future has commenced a 2019 sponsorship drive to fund the upcoming 2019 and 2020 advocacy work.
The dinner raised around $20,000, which will go towards the group's future plans, largely revolving around next October's state election with a grassroots message.
