Oakey Beef Exports has a new general manager after Pat Gleeson stepped down from the role.
Parent company NH Foods Australia has issued a statement confirming that Mr Gleeson resigned last week and announcing Grant Coleman as his replacement.
"NH Foods Australia thanks Pat for his contribution over the last 25 years to the success of the Oakey Beef Exports production plant and to the NH Foods Australia Group," it read.
"Pat has also been an unwavering supporter of the Australian beef industry in general and has worked tirelessly to promote the local region of Oakey, where the plant is based.
"We wish him well in his future endeavours."
Mr Coleman was already a member of the senior leadership team at NH Foods Australia, most recently in the position of general manager of Wingham Beef Exports on the mid-north coast of NSW.
He brings a wealth of experience to Oakey Beef Exports having overseen a number of engineering projects and brand strategies at Wingham Beef.
Mr Coleman took on his new role from Monday.
With Mr Coleman taking on the general manager role, Chris Black will step up as acting general manager at Wingham Beef Exports, having been part of the Wingham Beef team for 25 years.
His most recent role was as administration manager.
