Steers over 550kg sold to 310c and averaged 282c, while steers in the 400- 550kg sold to 307c, averaging 283c. Yorkaringa Farming Trust, Yorkaringa, Wallumbilla sold Droughtmaster steers to 310c, reaching a top of $1784 to average $1593. John E York, Taunton, Roma sold Simmental cross steers to 295c, reaching a top of $1964 to average $1787. Barry York, Waratah, Roma sold Santa cross steers to 292c, reaching a top of $1742 to average $1742.
Heifers over 450kg made to 276c and averaged 258c, heifers in the 350-450kg sold to 252c, averaging 238c. TW and AJ Bowen, Lolworth, Mitchell sold Droughtmaster cross heifers to 276c, reaching a top of $1401 to average $1200. The Droughtmaster cross cows sold to 235c, reaching a top of $1390 to average $1234.
Cows over 500kg peaked at 235c and averaged 220c, while cows in the 400- 500kg class topped at 225c and averaged 201c. Cows 300-400kg sold to 170c and averaged 161c.
RL and MJK Taylor, Wynrose, Wallumbilla sold Charolais cross cows to 230c, reaching a top of $1334 to average $1000. AF and MF Douglas, Springfield, Mitchell sold Droughtmaster cows to 226c, reaching a top of $1205 to average $1126. Bulls over 600kg earned to 276c and averaged 244c.
