Brahman bulls sold to $11,000 at the Woolooga Select Sire sale over the weekend, with an average of $4138 and 72 per cent clearance.
Out of the 50 bulls offered up at the multi-vendor sale on Saturday, 36 sold, with buyers coming from locations including Rockhampton, Taroom, Springsure and the Brisbane Valley.
Gigoomgan Vancouver claimed the top price of the sale at $11,000, offered by the Rockemer family of Gigoomgan Brahmans, Brooweena and bought by Dan Sullivan, Gympie.
The 34-month-old weighed in at 978kg, with 39.5cm scrotal circumference, eye muscle area of 138 sq cm, P8 and rib fat of 13mm and 11mm, intramuscular fat of 5pc and semen morphology of 80pc.
Felicity Rockemer said they were "absolutely thrilled" with the result.
"He was a beautiful bull and we hope the new owner's really happy with him," he said.
Second top price of $7500 went to Muan Tate 5719 (P), offered by Len and Peter Gibbs, Biggenden and bought by Matt Tennyson, Taroom.
Third top price of $6500 was fetched by Blue Blood Zeus, offered by Drewe and Kirsty Curtis, Mooloo and bought by Weller Pastoral, Eidsvold.
Volume buyer Brian Conroy, Esk, bought four bulls to average $3750.
