What started out as a kindy fundraiser with 78 guests, has grown into a glamorous affair, turning the "red rich town into a spot of magic for one day".

Over the years, the event has raised more than $750,000 for breast cancer, including a record of more than $60,000 in 2018.

It's a number that the committee set out to topple in the 20th year - a year that will likely be the last.

Though a final tally is still unknown, the auction alone saw $10,550 raised.

As an era draws to a close, the committee was determined to remind the ladies in attendance of the wonderful events in years past.

The different aprons worn by committee members each year were displayed around the grounds and a picture wall offered up snapshots from previous Pink Ladies Days.

Even if this is the last time a swarm of ladies descend upon the small south-west Queensland town, there's no doubt Weengallon Pink Ladies Day has a strong legacy.

Funds raised throughout the years have been responsible for placing breast care nurses in key rural locations, offering unwavering support to women fighting the disease.
