Agents Bartholomew & Co reported a yarding of 463 head of cattle at their Beaudesert store sale on Saturday. The market improved for quality lines of feeder steers and heifers. Weaners sold to an easier market, as did cows and calves and store cows.

Droughtmaster steers 14 months account Phil and Michelle Day, Canunrga, sold for $795. Bruce and Angela Gibson, Coleyville, sold Droughtmaster weaner steers for $580.
Homeville Rural Enterprises, Roadvale, sold Euro cross weaner steers for $470. Rob and Marian Kotzur, Maroon, sold Droughtmaster weaner steers for $425. Charbray heifers 15 months account Chris and Karen Lawson sold for $940. The Gittins family, Woodhill, sold Droughtmaster cross heifers 15 months for $835.
