Repeat and new buyers attended the Sandon Glenoch Angus bull sale on Wednesday, with demand for quality genetics pushing the sale to a $17,000 top.
Of the 84 bulls offered by the Boshammer families, 66 sold for a 78 per cent clearance rate and average of $6693.
The top-priced bull, Glenoch-JK Napalm N602, was offered by Justin and Kate Boshammer and purchased by Peter and Vicki Howard, Nogoa Pastoral, Duckponds.

Sired by Ayrvale General G18, the bull boasted an estimated breeding value of +76 for carcase weight, an eye muscle area of +5.7, and +3.1 for intramuscular fat.
Justin and Kate also made the second-top price of $11,000 for Glenoch-JK Negotiate N612.

Stud principal Justin Boshammer said it was great to see so many repeat buyers and a representation of new buyers as well.
"It's hard not to talk about the weather, but I thought it was a pleasing result given the circumstances," he said.
Agents said it was a good, honest result in such trying times.
The sale was conducted by Ray White Eastern Rural Dalby, with Lincoln McKinlay and Michael Glasser, Glasser Total Sales Management, taking the bids.
