Seasonally relevant, paddock-ready research outcomes for the summer season have been shared in Dalby at a Grains Research and Development Corporation research update.
A crowd of close to 200 growers, agronomists, farm advisors and industry stakeholders attended the event on August 2 and heard from speakers including Joe Eyre, Daniel Wegener, David Lawrence and Alex Nixon.
GRDC grower relations manager Richard Holzknecht said the event had been a success and reflected the interest and thirst growers and farm advisers had for the latest validated, regionally relevant research results.
"The GRDC are committed to offering growers seasonally relevant, paddock-ready research that can help inform and guide on-farm decision making even in tough seasons like the one we are experiencing now," he said.
"What growers and farm advisers are telling us is that staying informed is critical and it is even more important when conditions are dry and you are trying to make decisions that put you in the best possible position when the season improves."
