Numbers reduced by 1122 head to 4521 at Dalby on Wednesday. The trends of a large supply of cows continued, along with a small sample of heavy grown steers and bullocks, and a fair supply of yearling steers and heifers. Buyer attendance was generally good and included southern processors and feeder operators.
Medium and heavy weight yearling steers to feed, at the time of this interim report, have not maintained the levels of previous sales, and yearling heifers followed similar trends. However heavy grown steers and bullocks sold to strong demand and cows have gained from 3c to 10c, and up to 14c/kg on good heavy cows.
