Despite a chilly wind blowing, 300 young party-goers donned their finery for the cause of Hear and Say in Brisbane on Saturday night.
The world-leading Brisbane-based group is making a great difference in the lives of deaf children, teaching them to listen and speak since July 1992.
Hear and Say now employs more than 70 staff across five centres around Queensland, and via a Telepractice Program servicing rural, remote and international children and families.
Held at the scenic Riverside Receptions on the Brisbane River at New Farm, the cocktail party is now a much-awaited part of the Ekka calendar of events.
In 2017 the event raised over $19,000 for Hear and Say.
