With scores locked up at full time, Rangers conceded a penalty, and Dalby unfortunately missed the penalty goal attempt for a 24-24 draw.
Roma Echidnas travelled to play the Gatton Blackpigs to further secure their second place on the ladder, and they did just that with open play from both teams passing the ball around in free-flowing rugby. Roma defeated Gatton 52-13, to earn five precious competition points (including bonus point).
USQ Saints won convincingly at Heritage Oval, securing a 42-14 bonus point win over the Toowoomba Bears.
