From July 5 to 7, 55 competitors aged from seven to 25 gathered at the Pittsworth Showgrounds for the annual show, along with 65 head of cattle.

This year the show started early on the Friday with some competitors heading to Oakey Beef Exports, learning about other parts of the beef supply chain.

Later in the afternoon all competitors took part in a farmer's challenge while Saturday saw all competitors partaking in hands-on sessions about branding and tagging, junior judging, making halters, parading, photography, public speaking and arts and craft.

Competitors also participated in informative talks including sessions run by Pat O'Neil from Zoetis and Geoff from Queensland Ambulance Service.

The competitors showed off what they had learnt over the weekend through a junior judging competition, cattle classes and parading competitions.
