Angus steers reach 338c/kg at Roma store sale

A total of 7148 head of cattle were consigned at Roma's store sale on Tuesday. Weaner steers under 220kg topped at 310c and averaged 281c, weaner steers 220-280kg reached 330c and averaged 296c. Steers 280- 350kg reached 338c and averaged 298c, and steers 350-400kg reached 332c and averaged 302c. Feeder steers 400-550kg topping at 312c and averaging 285c. Cows and calves hit $970/unit.
