Don and Karen Duncombe sold milk tooth Charolais steers at $1270. Ross and Tracey Tinney had No. 8 Droughtmaster steers at $1200.
Two Tons Pastoral Co., Harlin, had Droughtmaster steers 22 months at $1170 with Dallas Richter's Droughtmaster steers selling at $1150. Charlie Zischke sold 12 month Charolais cross steers at $940.
Paradise Grazing, Rob and Jen Grieve sold a top line of Charolais cross steer calves at $820, $810, $740 and $720. Gilla Partnership sold their Charolais cross calves at $910, $900, $860 and $830. Gemeast sold steer calves at $700.
Delcosta, Linville, had late Charolais cross steer weaners at $680 and $660. Andy and Cheree Grieve had a great line of later Charolais steer calves at $730, $700 and $640. Ko Ko Pastoral Co. had Droughtmaster cross steers 12 mths at $779. Daryl Jackson's Brangus steers 14 months sold at $1180.
HH6 Rural, Colinton, sold Santa cross steers 8-10 mths at $700. Ian Macdonald's Angus cross steer calves realised $590. Ian and Lex McKenzie had Droughtmaster cross steers at $960 and $830.
The heifer market was strong with buyers seeking replacement breeders and lotfeeders quite active.
Graham, Ross and Matt Bauer, Tambo, sold three decks of quality heifers. Charbray heifers 16 months sold at $970 and 12 months at $760, Brangus cross at $670 and Droughtmaster Brahman cross at $580.
Gilla, Blackbutt, had Charolais Santa cross heifer calves at $830, $810, $720 and $690. Paradise Grazing sold Charolais cross heifer calves at $650, $650, $550 and $530.
Lyndhurst, Crows Nest, had late Charolais cross heifers at $530 and $520. Gemeast of Crows Nest had Charolais cross heifer calves at $500 and $490.
R&A Cattle,f Nanango, sold Charolais cross heifers at $850. Ben Woodrow's Charolais cross heifer calves sold at $570. Matt Evans, Ma Ma Creek, had Droughtmaster heifer calves at $580.
Ralph and Dianne Mayer sold Charolais cross heifers at $820, $790 and $760. Grieve Bros. sold a draft of 80 late weaner heifers to $550 and $540 with quite young heifers at $410 and $400. Syd Beutel had aged Brahman cows with Charbray calves at foot at $1100.
Lindsay Grantz sold aged C/C at $1000. Michael Conroy had Brangus calfy cows at $1030 and Droughtmaster cross at $850. Good conditioned Charbray cows sold at $1290.
