Sixty years of experience sits behind the Danish family owned Bredal Spreader brand, resulting in machines with a unique spreader system, a finely tuned spread pattern and a company focus on quality control.
Bredal Australia director Ben Nichols said he believed the reason why the Bredal spreaders had proven popular in Australia over the past 20 years was the premium quality of build.
"We start at 1,500 litre capacity linkage mounted machines and run right up to 30 tonne trailed machines," he said.
"We have superior build quality and everything is built in-house, so there is very little out sourcing of parts, meaning the quality control is really high.
"Bredal also has a superior powder coating facility in the Denmark factory, where everything is powder coated in-house, so there is no transport or shipping of parts before they are powder coated, which gives a much higher paint quality and better quality control, which is really important for corrosion resistance."
Mr Nichols said a unique design feature of the Bredal spreaders was that the spinners ran in the opposite direction, from outside to in, compared to most spreaders.
"This along with the way we control our drop point, means we get an excellent spread pattern," he said.
"Bredal have in-house fertiliser testing facilities, which means the consistency of spread pattern across multiple products is superior to anyone in the market.
"While some competitors may be able to spread one product as good as us on a particular day, we find on average our spread pattern is much more consistent then the competition."
Mr Nichols said the company had recently released the specialised XE series of machines.
"They have an attachment that mount the spreader six metres apart. It's the only one like it currently available in the world," he said.
"This means we can consistently hit wider widths, than with a standard machine."
Mr Nichols said the XE suited people wanting more accurate applications at wider widths, for both granular product as well as manure and compost.
