The market held firm for steers to top at $1460 for milk tooth Charolais cross steers from Lloyd and Elaine Golinski. Golinski steers also sold at $1300 for 20 months.
Runnymede Pastoral Co sold 20 months steers at $1140. Allan and Vicki Cameron had 18 months steers at $1050. B&P Woodhead had Angus cross steers 15 months at $780 and Charolais cross at $770.
Peter Smith sold Hereford cross steers two years at $1240. Ian David had Charolais Brahman cross steers at $770. David White sold Santa cross steers 12 months at $780.
Simon Bechly had Charolais cross steers 12 months at $810. Chanel Country Agri. Co. sold Charolais cross steers 12 months at $760. Sandy Creek Trust had Charolais steer calves at $710.
Plain quality and small steer calves found a harder market as did plain and light heifer calves. Jim and Sandra Gault sold Brahman cross cows at $1270. Nick Chipizubov sold Angus cross cows at $1130 and Santa cross cows and calves at $1010.
