CARROT couture was embraced by all at the first fashion parade hosted by Kalfresh on Saturday.
Fashion designer sisters sisters Chloe Rowe and Kate Russell unveiled a vegetable-inspired collection The Vegetable Edit through their label Jericho Road.
The models who paraded the collection on the "carrotwalk" included Kalfresh team members and farmers' wives who exuded joy and were clearly having great fun taking part in the event.
The crowd joined in the spirit of fun by cheering, singing along, clapping and pausing to take carrot selfies.
A brief downpour did not put a dampener on proceedings as people took shelter under cover and enjoyed a variety of tasty treats prepared by Scenic Rim chef Kate Raymont, washed down with champagne or carrot beer.
The fashion collection was available for purchase after the fashion show and will also feature at Kalfresh's Eat Local Carrot Day on Saturday, June 29, and the Winter Harvest Festival on Saturday, July 7.
