Ridgelands Show bowls them over

Hundreds of visitors made their way to Ridgelands for the 2019 show

IN a case of perfect timing the Ridgelands and Districts Sporting and Agricultural Association enticed Carl Rackemann to open their 2019 show.

Rackemann was a wonderful cricketer in his day, capping a superb career with several appearances in the Australian test side.

So it was fitting he should open the show on the same weekend Australia made its first foray into the 2019 cricket world cup.

For Rackemann it was more pleasure than duty and president Stewart Jones admitted the committee was thrilled he accepted their invitation.
