Agents Boyd O'Brien Bartholomew reported a yarding of 876 head of cattle at Moreton on Tuesday. Vealers and yearlings remained firm to slightly easier for lesser quality types. Feeders sold to a competitive panel of buyers as did grain assist and accredited trade. Export sold to slightly easier market.

Auld Family Pastoral, Ripley also sold Droughtmaster cross vealer steers for 255.2c to weigh 278.5kg and return $710. P and S O`Keefe, Ingoldsby sold Euro cross vealer heifers for 205.2c weighing 245kg returning $502.

J and BR Sutton, Fordsdale sold Charolais cross yearling steers for 220c to weigh 287.5kg and return $632. Limo cross yearling heifers account RN and B Brook, Fassifern Valley sold for 281.2c weighing 305kg to return $857. N and D O`Connor, Ashgrove sold Charolais cross light feeder steers for 250.2c weighing 351.9kg returning $880.
