A massive clearing sale is set to be held on the property Bungaree, near Pampas, on Saturday, June 8 at 9am.
The clearing sale follows the death of prominent farmer Lyndon Pfeffer who was involved in a collision on the Gore Highway, near Millmerran on December 27, and later died from his injuries.
Mr Pfeffer along with his wife Lyndelle, farmed 813 hectares where he grew predominantly sorghum.
He was a well respected member of local farming community, a respected grain farmer and he was just carrying out his normal day to day operation when the accident occurred.
Mr Pfeffer was a former AgForce grains president from 2005 to 2010 and did much to advance the industry across the country.
In 2012 he was named Queensland Grain Grower of the Year and presented with the Jason Rae Memorial award.
Since Mr Pfeffer died, his wife Lyndelle and family have leased the farming country and are now selling all the farming equipment.
Selling agent Matt Cleary, Ray White, Pittsworth, said the items catalogued for sale is impressive.
"It will be one of the best clearing sales with an excellent line-up of machinery that I have been involved with," Mr Cleary said.
The extensive items include tractors, truck and vehicles; headers and grain handling equipment; farm machinery; and workshop tools and equipment.
Mr Cleary said all machinery would be open for inspection on Friday, May 31 ahead of the sale the following Saturday.
The selling agents will place direction signs on the Gore Highway at Pampas and the address of Bungaree is 209 Pampas Horrane Road.
