QRIDA offers a range of low interest loans and grants for primary producers that help with family farm succession, increasing the productivity and profitability of existing farming enterprises and assisting with drought preparedness.
With their Sustainability Loan of up to $1.3 million, QRIDA helped clients in Central Queensland to upgrade, expand and diversify their current operations; purchase capital equipment and upgrade on-farm grain and fodder storage, improve irrigation and establish renewable energy systems for long-term sustainability.
Clients have also kickstarted their career in agriculture with First Start Loans of up to $2 million. Fifth-generation Central Queensland grazier, Nathan Warnock used a First Start Loan to purchase his first block of land when he was 19 and now, at 23, he is well on his way to building a successful beef grazing enterprise.
