There were 292 head sold at Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale on Monday. A plainer yarding of cattle came to hand this week, with the market remaining firm to dearer for the quality on offer.

Hazel Nichols, Stanmore, sold a line of crossbred steers for $1100 and Charolais cross steer calves for $630. David Cox, Moore, sold Brahman steers for $850. The Whiston Whanau Trust, Mount Mee, sold Droughtmaster steers for $1035. C and R Dellaway, Windera, sold Gelbvieh vealer steers for $625.

L and A Friedrich, Toogoolawah, sold medium Murray Grey cows for $1015. K and A Stockton, Woodford, sold mixed breed cows to $1100. John Robinson, Dayboro, sold a Santa bull for $1400. Hugh Munro, Woodford, sold Droughtmaster heifers, 24 months, for $1195. Tim Anderson, Stanmore, sold Hereford cross steers for $855. Martin Simmons, Donnybrook, sold a line of Braford steer calves for $400.
