Agents Bartholomew & Co reported a yarding of 446 head of cattle at their Beaudesert Store Sale on Saturday. Feeder steers and heifers sold to a dearer market, as did quality weaner steers. Late weaners and lesser quality types were easier. Cows and calves sold to a competitive panel of buyers.

Exportech Pty Ltd, Kerry, sold Droughtmaster steers 2.5 years for $1490. Charbray steers 18 months account Charlie Christensen, Rosevale sold for $1265. Shamrockvale Station, Kerry, sold Brangus steers 18 months for $1130. Frank and Tina Browne, Moogerah sold Brangus steers 12 months for $815. Santa steers 12 months account Syd Williams, Mt Mort, sold for $730.

Droughtmaster weaner steers account Exportech Pty Ltd sold for $640. Simon and Robyn Corcoran, Canungra, sold Charbray weaner steers for $680. Bill O'Flaherty, Mt Alford, sold Droughtmaster cross heifers 18 months for $1115. Rob and Marian Kotzur, Maroon, sold Droughtmaster heifers 12 months for $740. 12-month-old Droughtmaster cross heifers from Clyde Bain, Running Creek sold for $620.

Mick and Jodie O'Reilly, Kerry, sold Droughtmaster cross weaner heifers for $470. Sue Newlove, Maroon, sold Santa cows and calves for $1325 and Santa cows for $1025. Ross Wernowski, Croftby, sold Euro cross cows and calves for $1005. Rob and Marian Kotzur sold Droughtmaster cows and calves for $1005.
