Charolais cross steers reach 312c/$1001 at Roma

A total of 4072 cattle were consigned at Roma's store sale on Tuesday. Weaner steers under 220kg topped at 286c and averaged 253c, weaner steers 220-280kg reached 310c and averaged 269c. Steers 280- 350kg reached 312c and averaged 268c, and steers 350-400kg reached 284c and averaged 268c. Feeder steers 400-550kg topping at 286c and averaging 277c. Cows and calves hit $840/unit.
