A "complete cow" with a "ripping" calf has been named supreme champion of the interbreed competition among a tough field at the Gympie Show.
Bowenfels Jedda J7 nabbed the champion of champions award, beating top quality exhibits from Meldon Park and the Elite Cattle Company.
Handler Chloe Gould said the win capped a strong trifecta for Bowenfels Jedda, who also won the supreme champion award at shows in Nanango and Kingaroy.
"The judge said she was an all around complete cow that he couldn't fault," Ms Gould said.
"She had a calf on her that she was doing a ripping job on and an udder that the judge really liked."
Bowenfels Jedda, from the Glenrae Pastoral Co, was named the Senior Champion Female for the Angus breed judging at the 2017 Ekka.
Ms Gould said the plan was to retain Bowenfels Jedda in the company's herd and continue breeding from her.
"We've always thought really highly of her, she does well under every judge," she said.
Fourteen of Bowenfels Jedda's half-sisters would go up for offer at the Females of the Future sale in Kingaroy next month.
The Champion Opposite Sex award in Gympie's interbreed competition was given to Meldon Park Navigator, who was also named the interbreed Junior Champion bull.
Meldon Park Nitro won the interbreed Senior Champion bull class, while Elite Black Opal P111 took home the interbreed Junior Champion female and Elite Simmental won the gong for the Interbreed Exhibitors Group.
