Agents Bartholomew & Co reported a yarding of 457 head of cattle at their Beaudesert store sale on Saturday. The market remained firm for heavier feeder steers and heifers. Quality lines of weaner steers sold to a competitive panel of buyers, whilst lesser quality types were slightly easier than last week's market. Cows and calves sold well, as did cows.

John and Amanda Thomas, Laravale, topped the sale with their 18-month-old Charbray steers selling for $1215. Pens of Droughtmaster steers 18 months account Graham Isbell, Coulson, sold for $1200. Shaun Minahan, Rathdowney, sold Droughtmaster steers for $950. Keira Farm, Mutdapilly, sold Charbray weaner steers for $700. Jon Stiller & Co, Allenview, sold Limousin weaner steers for $595. Os Plumbing, Beaudesert, sold Droughtmaster weaner steers for $535.
