Big Skies 2019 has been hailed as a massive success, attracting over 2500 people to the signature Day on the Plain classic rock concert on Saturday.
Western Downs mayor Paul McVeigh said that council was very happy with the turnout, given the event was impacted by rain earlier in the day.
"To drive up the main street of Dalby on Saturday morning and not be able to get a park, to see all the 'no vacancy' signs on our motels was fantastic," he said.
"The whole week of Big Skies gave our economy a real boost and our visitors were given heaps of opportunities to experience our amazing region.
"The regional tours for agriculture and sustainable energy were a real hit and good numbers attended the various community events.
"Dalby especially, was buzzing with visitors all week."
Events held during the Big Skies festival included Dalby Picnic Races, The Chef's Table, regional tours, outdoor cinema and a range of community events.
