Flooding from heavy rains causes Warrego Highway to close

The Department of Transport and Main Roads closed the Warrego Highway 21 kilometres west of Mitchell at the first crossing at Big Womalilla Creek in both directions at about nine o'clock this morning due to flooding. Pictures: Neen Hawkes.

The Warrego Highway between Roma and Mungallala has reopened after being cut off earlier this morning by floodwaters.
