Agents Boyd O'Brien Bartholomew reported a yarding of 309 head of cattle at Moreton on Tuesday. Due to the short weeks a reduced yarding came to hand and all descriptions sold to a dearer market. Vealers and yearlings sold to a competitive market as did feeders. Export also sold well.

Cunningham Cattle Co, Charters Towers sold pens of Brahman vealer heifers for 245.2c/kg weighing 237kg to return $582. Limousin cross yearling steers account G and V Brewster, Glamorganvale sold for 231.2c weighing 277kg to return $641. P O`Connor, Toogoolawah sold Angus cross feeder steers for 294.2c weighing 518kg to return $1524.

Euro cross feeder heifers account D Zurvas, Mt Alford sold for 260.2c weighing 380kg to return $988. D Zurvas also sold Euro cross grain assist heifers for 259.2c weighing 370kg to return $959. P O`Connor also sold Angus cross grass ox for 295.2c weighing 580kg to return $1712. Tonic Brothers, Ashwell sold Brahman cross cows for 241.2c weighing 462kg to return $1114. D McPherson, Coolana sold Greyman bulls for 240.2c weighing 885kg to return $2125.
