A sterling draft of horses from 29 vendors was on offer at the Hygain Capricornia Yearling Sale at Rockhampton on Sunday.
This was the first year the sale has been run by the Rockhampton Jockey Club which late last year signed a three-year agreement to manage and promote it.
RJC chief executive officer Tony Fenlon said the strong line-up drew great interest from bidders.
