There were five March-shorn groups of three rams and two contesting The Stonehaven Cup Perpetual Trophy under judges Russell Jones, Nigel Brumpton, Jono Merriman, Simon Bahr and Andrew Rintoul.
First place went to the team bred by the McLaren family from Nerstane, Woolbrook, ahead the entry bred by Leo Blanch and family of Westvale, Wollun and in third place the Merryville team bred by Wal and George Merriman.
For the Bruce Merriman Memorial Perpetual Trophy awarded to the best exhibit of five Merino or Poll Merino August-shorn sheep six teams were entered.
First place was awarded to the McLaren family, Nerstane, Woolbrook, ahead to the team from Garry Cox, Langdene, Dunedoo and in third place the team from Ken Wolf Hollow Mount Merino stud, Bigga was successful.
Judging for The Otway Falkiner Perpetual Cup for best exhibit of five Poll Merino sheep resulted in a hatrick for the McLaren family taking first place under judges Simon Bahr and Sydney Lawrie.
Second place went to the Grassy Creek team bred by Mick Corkhill, Reids Flat and in third place Roseville Park, bred by Matthew Coddington, Dubbo.
